Welcome to the Öresund region
The Öresund Region is located in the heart of Scandinavia's breadbasket
and is a strategic location for the entire Northern European food
industry.
The region takes its name from the Strait of Öresund, the narrow body
of water that separates Sweden and Denmark, and links the North Sea
with the Baltic Sea. A road and rail bridge spans the strait, giving
Malmö in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark a permanent link, and making
the logistical dream of two countries in one complete region come true.
