Leading Functional Food Company awarded by retailersSkånemejerier, the company behind e.g. the Proviva products, recently won the Swedish “Great Retailer Award”. The dairy Skånemejerier is a pioneer in launches of functional foods with approved health claims. The award motivation is based on “their continuous work on developing functional foods and the level of risk that the commitment brought in their innovative efforts”. The aim of the price is to promote quality and growth within the retailing industry. Skånemejerier has decided to donate the price money to a project for development of health issues, practical and evident, for kids of school age.
