From farm to innovative food company - Marianne´s Farm, awardedThe innovative company Marianne´s farm, received at a ceremony on November 22:nd the Skåne Food Academy Award its commitment to research and product development of carrot based products. Marianne´s Farm has experienced a remarkable change. Starting as a traditional farm, the company has developed into a fast growing food production company with over 50 employees, delivering new products and new solutions. Marianne´s Farm has during the last years developed a range of carrot based products and encouraged researchers to study the carrot area. Marianne´s close interaction with the academy has lead to new product developments, for example a juice based on carrot, sausage containing carrots and bread containing carrot. One of Marianne´s major customers are Mc Donald’s, which are supplied with baby carrots. When Marianne Härning-Nilsson, owner and executive director of Marianne’s Farm, received the Skåne Food Academy Award in Malmö, she promised more new products, claiming that new ideas are created all the time, nothing is impossible.
