BIOGAIA SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH DELTA MEDICALBioGaia AB has signed a distribution agreement with Delta Medical Promotions AG, Switzerland, which gives Delta Medical exclusive rights to distribute BioGaia's Probiotic drops in Ukraine and non-exclusive rights in Russia. The drops will be sold under the BioGaia brand. Delta Medical, which is strong in paediatric medicine, will sell BioGaia Probiotic drops mainly through pharmacies and drugstores. The company has a sales force of close to 300 medical representatives that promotes the products directly to doctors. "We see a great potential for our products in the highly populated countries of former Soviet Union such as Russia and Ukraine. With Delta Medical's expertise in the paediatric field, we are building a strong partnership for our most rapidly growing product" says Peter Rothschild. "BioGaia Probiotic Drops is a unique product that fits well with our paediatric portfolio" says Will Wickham, General Director, Delta Medical.
