Ugandan ambassador to visit One Cafés grand opening
The innovative company One Café, based in the Öresund region, is very soon to start its own production plant. The company moves from Science Park Ideon, Lund to the nearby town Eslöv. One Café, has developed a new technique to brew coffee. The technique is similar to making a cup of tea, a small bag with coffee is placed in a cup of water and two minutes later, the coffee is ready to drink.
Going from innovation to production includes many steps and a huge development process. One Café has together with Ideon based support organizations for innovative companies like Ideon Innovation and Ideon Agro Food, managed to take all the necessary steps. The company is now ready to enter the commercial market. Managing director Johnny Ragazzo says that the company will break even in 2007.
The One Café products are today produced by a coffee roasting company in Uganda, where a limited production line produces the coffee-bags. The specially designed products are used as samples for possible customer and for sales.
The grand opening of One Cafés new production plant in Eslöv will be visited by, Joseph Tomusange, Ugandan Ambassador and Göran Tunhammar, County Governor in Skåne.
