You prevent obesity by eating green leaf!

The University of Lund based scientist Professor Charlotte Erlanson-Albertsson and Professor Per Åke Albertsson have found that green leaf can help you to prevent obesity. Thylakoids that can be found in green leaf are soon to be expected as an ingredient in normal products such as yoghurt, bread and burgers.

“My vision is that we can raise enough money from risk capitalists to employ a number of researchers for this project. Hopefully these new employees can work further with research and development. The researchers activities are supposed to be organised under our own management” says Per Åke Albertsson, Professor emeritus at Lund University

Charlotte Erlanson-Albertsson is well known for her research activities within obesity and appetite regulation. The two scientist’s new finding of Thylakoids  value in the prevention of obesity has lead them to create a start-up company, the company’s name is logically Thylabisco. The project has been financed and supported by LU Innovation, the Technology Transfer Office at Lund university.
