BioGaia signs agreement for oral health products in Finland

BioGaia has signed an agreement with the Finnish company Verman OY. The agreement gives Verman exclusive rights also to distribute BioGaia´s probiotic products for oral health in the Finnish market.

Verman is already a successful distributor of BioGaia´s probiotic products for gut health in Finland and will now extend its product range to include BioGaia´s products for oral health.

The products will be sold through pharmacies and dental clinics in Finland. Launch of the products is expected at the end of 2007.
”The collaboration with Verman has been very successful to date. We are therefore eagerly anticipating the launch of the oral health products in the Finnish market” says Peter Rothschild, President BioGaia.

Verman distributes both food supplement and pharmaceutical products mainly through pharmacies. The company has around 30 employees and is located in Järvenpää outside Helsinki.
